When it comes to cordless vacuum cleaners, CES is a different affair this year. It is no longer a show limited to Dyson or Shark showing their prowess in the vacuuming industry. Over the years, various new brands have emerged that have not only challenged the established players but also surpassed them on many levels. Bosch, a company renowned for its home appliance tools, is now tapping into the market of cordless vacuum cleaners and, for the first time ever, is launching its new line of cordless vacuum cleaners in the US.
Bosch has unveiled Unlimited 9 and Unlimited 10, two new vacuum cleaners at CES 2026. Both these vacuum cleaners come incorporated with the company’s proprietary “MicroClean Technology that indicates if vacuumed surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, helping clean more easily and intelligently.” Not only this, but the company also offers a 10-year warranty on both models, thus throwing an open challenge to the likes of Dyson and Shark, who till now have been leading the change in cordless stick vacuum.
When it comes to functionality, Bosch claims its new line of vacuum cleaners captures up to 99.9 percent of dust, including microscopic particles as small as 0.3 microns. This is possible courtesy of a built-in sensor that detects what the eye can’t see. Both the vacuums also feature a “MicroClean Brush”. CNET, which has had a hands-on demo at the same states, states, “it works on both hard floors and thicker carpets, with a dedicated sensor that will change in color once your floor is fully cleaned.” Honestly, this is something the likes of Dyson and Shark can incorporate in their models too.
Akin to Dyson’s V16 Piston, Bosch’s Unlimited 9 and Unlimited 10 also feature a new Compression Slider. For those who haven’t used a cordless stick vacuum in the past, this tech allows you to condense your dust box mid-use, creating more room as you go to save on frequent emptying.
That leaves us with the question: What’s the difference between the two models? According to Bosch’s press release, the Unlimited 10 provides a longer battery life and a bendable tube for easier cleaning under couches and tables. It also features an interactive display, implying you can switch between cleaning modes with ease. All these features come at a premium price point, which is $700 on Amazon. Its sister model, the Unlimited 9, is priced at $500.
