German RV manufacturer Bürstner raised the standard for the RV industry with the inflatable Talis camping trailer concept at the Caravan Salon last year, and it is once again making waves with the new Signature series, which features RVs that blend the best aspects of camper vans and motorhomes in a sleek, semi-integrated body. The interior includes creative, transforming furniture to maximize space, while the design smoothly connects the living area with the cab for a seamless look.
As New Atlas notes, the Bürstner Signature lineup is an upgraded version of the company’s Lyseo TD Class C motorhome family. The entire box has been reconfigured to bring in some of the smooth styling of its fully integrated Class A motorhomes. Bürstner has rounded off the sharp lines and edges found on the Lyseo TD’s sidewalls, which makes the Signature lineup more like a combination of a camper van and a small motorhome.
As visible in the pictures, the most evident change in the design is the large curve of the fiberglass rear wall, highlighted by wide LED lights. The body’s smooth shape and matching color to the van’s front make it hard to tell if it is a Class B or Class C motorhome.
The video preview shows the compact shell provides ample space to include comforts just like a full-sized motorhome by utilizing transforming rooms, furniture, and equipment. This starts from the hybrid wet/dry bathroom that quickly changes from a toilet room to a spacious shower using a sliding front wall. There is another great transformational feature in the bathroom – a bench that offers two different positions to cater to different needs.
Lastly, the kitchen in the Bürstner Signature lineup features a flexible design that transforms to your needs. When it is time to cook, a rear kitchen block wall and dual-burner stove lid unfold to create a temporary separation between the galley and rear bedroom. This divider is not permanent to keep the living area open and airy. It not only helps protect the bedding from any cooking splashes but also provides shelves for ingredients and spices. Furthermore, the cooktop cover slides out in front of the bed steps to create an L-shaped kitchen with generous worktop space, while a cutting board sink cover attaches to the outside of the kitchen block to add even more workspace

Bürstner is introducing a range of Signature models with flexible sleeping options. Some models will come with a raised rear bed and a double bed in the front that lowers over the dining lounge. With an optional bubbled roof space, the front bed can retract fully into the ceiling while preserving the full standing height of 78 inches (198 cm) inside.
The Signature family will be available in both Fiat Ducato and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter base vehicles. There is a scarcity of specs right now, but you can expect more details to roll out when it is revealed at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon 2025.
