Atlanta-based startup Responsive Surface Technology (ReST) is taking the smart bed to next level by launching its ReST Bed at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015. The hi-tech bed comes with smart fabric and sensors to track your sleep habits, meanwhile sending the collecting data throughout night when you sleep. The collected data further helps to auto-adjust the bed so that it offers you a comfortable resting platform even when you toss and turn during sleep.

Its mattress is integrated with 18 air sensors that simultaneously inflate and deflate as per your preferences. This means you can keep the mattress firm or soft as cloud. After lying on the bed, you’ll feel as if you’re floating on a water bed because you can feel inflating and deflating of the air chambers hidden inside the mattress.

However, it is designed not to make you uncomfortable due to its built-in patented system called Adaptive Sleep Thinking. This system is incorporated with smart fabric of the mattress to sense changes in pressure and dynamically responds to your body in real-time to relieve pressure.

Earlier, we acquainted you with the Sleep Number IQ Kids bed to induce better sleep in children. But ReST smart bed has much more to offer rather than a simple sleep tracker. The twin ReST smart bed will cost you $5,000 after its commercial launch, whereas its queen version will retail for $7,000.
