The Cesto chair collection by Polish design company Artu is a display of metal that features a slatted seat and backrest to provide a versatile seating option in numerous settings. With a clear shape formed from metal tubes and slats, the chair is created to offer a sleek design and modern aesthetic to complement outdoor spaces while withstanding the harsh elements.

Spanish furniture designer, Pablo Regano crafted the chair along the lines of his coastal roots featuring expressive and cheerful attributes. Drawing inspiration from the curves of a basket case which is usually made from rattan or other natural fibers that are easy to manipulate and shape, the chair takes its characteristic form and significance from the storage basket. The name of the chair also comes from the Spanish word for the basket case.

Framed on a curved tubular form that envelops the round seat, the chair is characterized by a harmonious blend of clean lines and minimalistic design. Although the chair appears complex, the simplicity of its construction is fabulous. The designer adopted a modest design with a circular seat supported by a slightly angled back. Its tubular armrests and legs add a bit of character that complements the slats.

Available in all RAL colors to suit contemporary layouts, it caters to both indoors and outdoors without taking much space and its stackability makes it even alluring.‎ The Cesto chair is a perfect fit for street cafes and terraces but it can also be placed in residential spaces.
