Star Wars: The Last Zedi (a.k.a. Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Zedi) is slated to release on 13 December 2017, and the anticipation is boiling up. Colin Furze who’s the hottest DIY’er out there, when it comes to making crazy stuff, joined forces with James Bruton (a.k.a. XRobots) to create something larger than life, as a project for eBay. Both these sharp heads managed to create life-size versions of the Kylo Ren’s TIE silencer warship and BB-9E droid which just blew the charts when a bunch of keen kids saw it.

The DIY project themed on Star Wars required them to complete it using stuff bought from eBay only. This by-the-way was a piece of cake for Colin who normally also buys a lot of stuff off of eBay for his projects.

Colin aimed his eye for design to good use for the TIE silencer, while James used his engineering prowess to build a fully-functional BB-9E droid. In the end it all came good, as the kids dressed up in Star Wars-themed clothes couldn’t imagine their eyes when the duo revealed their creation to them.

Thankfully, the TIE silencer is currently on display at Burghley House, Stamford till 10th December 2017. So, if you happen to be around, don’t miss the chance to have a look at this one-off creation.
