Designer Haldane Martin, founder of furniture brand Haldane, has created a “luxurious statement in alfresco leisure” via the Contour outdoor daybed. Pairing his love for the outdoors with his passion for design, Haldane’s Contour daybed is a curvaceous statement piece that provides alfresco luxury to two.

Clad in stainless steel and water-repellent textured fabric, the daybed is ideal for outdoor settings without having to worry about damage to the beautiful furniture. On top of that, it comes with an overhead canopy to prevent harsh elements, while the layered cushioning provides a snug spot to unwind and relax.

The Contour was created as an adaptation of Mauritian thatch-roofed daybeds. This adaptation is “opulent but restrained” and features oversized proportions and layered organic shapes. The sculpted contours are held in place with its compressed architectural form.

The daybed features powder-coated frames of Marine Grade SS316 stainless steel, with an option of a round shade canopy made from Screentex performance fabric. The fabric is textured for a luxurious feel and is UV-stable and water-repellent, which works great in outdoors.

The outdoor furniture derives its name from its geometric shape and it contours the body as the second skin when you use it. Meanwhile, the canopy adds a distinctive protective touch, making the furniture ideal for alfresco lounging. The Contour daybed will look amazing on a beachside location or amidst your garden, surrounded by natural beauty.
