Coyuchi is one of the first companies to bring organic cotton bedding to the market, and it continues to set the standard for sustainable luxury with its latest Marin REM Mattress. This made-to-order mattress combines certified natural materials and expert craftsmanship with a responsive design to ensure a healthy, 5-star hotel sleep.
The Californian brand launched it as a premium successor to its award-winning Natural REM Mattress, launched in 2025. The main highlight is the organic material choice that includes certified organic cotton along with wool and latex instead of the traditional synthetic foams and chemical treatments.
Each mattress is made from a total of nine layers to offer superior pressure relief and a more responsive feel that adapts to your body. The layers include a GOTS certified organic cotton hand-tufted knit cover, quilted with organic New Zealand wool, and two layers of GOLS certified Dunlop latex with micro-coils system in the middle.
Next comes two layers of 4-inch individually encased coils with a layer of natural coconut fibers and a latex pad sandwiched in between. Approximately 2,950 coils are used in a queen-size mattress, while a dual-coil design promotes airflow and prevents sagging over time.
The last layer is an organic wool bottom pad that acts as a natural flame retardant while regulating temperature, wicking away moisture, and resisting allergens for cooler, more comfortable sleep. The mattress is completely free from synthetic foams, chemical flame retardants, glue, and toxins commonly found in conventional mattresses.

Measuring 13 inches deep, it is designed to offer enhanced support, comfort, and durability for any kind of sleeper. There are two comfort options to choose from according to particular needs. The plush-firm version features layers of soft latex for a contouring, cloud-like feel.
On the other hand, the medium-firm version combines dense latex layers for extra support. Plush is suitable for side sleepers or anyone who loves a softer feel, while the medium-firm version is meant for back and combination sleepers wanting balanced support and more alignment.
The Marin REM Mattress comes at a hefty price tag, and you have to fork out a minimum of $2,800 to get a queen-size model. Each buyer gets a complimentary white-glove delivery, which means a trusted delivery partner transports, sets up your new mattress, and removes your old mattress, free of charge.
