Arizona-based Boho Camper Vans recently completed a custom build for Char and Laurie in Houston, Texas. Built on a 2025 Ram ProMaster 3500 high roof with a 159-inch wheelbase and extended (EXT) configuration, the camper van is thoughtfully designed to comfortably seat and sleep two people.
As Boho describes it, “Sapho is more than a van – it’s a tour bus built to blaze its own trail.” Featuring a flame-wrapped exterior, the camper van grabs attention wherever it goes. For added convenience, Boho offers a range of optional exterior upgrades, including a roof awning for shade, roof racks, and a ladder for extra storage access, bug screens for the sliding and rear doors, running boards for easier entry, and exterior light bars and pods to brighten up your campsite.
Boho has used its signature “Old Faithful” interior layout for this build, known for its smart use of space and comfort. It features a cozy face-to-face seating area, a retractable butcher-block table, and flexible storage throughout. The open floor plan creates a spacious feel, making it ideal for travelers who enjoy spending extended time inside the van.
As you step inside, you are greeted by a warm, rustic interior with wood-paneled walls and a ceiling that creates a cozy cabin-like feel. The kitchen, located near the entrance, can be fitted with essential amenities for cooking on the go. Wooden details such as a butcher-block countertop, built-in storage cabinets, and a stylish tiled backsplash add unique charm to this space.
Next to the kitchen is the living area, featuring two facing sofas that create a comfortable space to relax. Next to them sits a raised platform bed with ample storage underneath. A retractable table slides out from beneath the bed to dine or work. One of the sofas also conceals a composting toilet in order to maximize functionality without compromising space.

For power, the van includes rooftop solar panels, an inverter, and a smart screen controller. If you need more capacity, the system can be upgraded with 400Ah Battle Born lithium batteries. Additional available upgrades include off-grid air conditioning, a heating system, a 360-degree surveillance setup, and a dual-burner induction stove to elevate your van life.
Opening the rear doors reveals a neatly organized utility area beneath the platform bed that houses all the electrical components and an outdoor showerhead. The Sapho camper van is equipped with a 28-gallon fresh water tank and a 6-gallon water heater for comfortable off-grid living.
