Meet the D’AX Design collection, the result of an innovative collaboration between the two prolific names in the furniture industry. The Italian designer duo Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba with leading Italian furniture manufacturer Chateau D’Ax created D’AX Design collection of two different types of upholstered furniture and a series of furnishing accessories and containers.

Designed for spaces with modern sensibilities and quality craftsmanship, the collection features two signature pieces, the Shell and the Prisma. Both the pieces revel in refined and detailed work throughout that could uplift even the most uninteresting corners of your house.

Aligning with the philosophy of blending aesthetic with functionality, the D’AX stays one step ahead with its ergonomics and huggable forms that provide an unforgettable lounging experience. Let’s discuss the highlighted pieces of the collection.

First is the Shell, an elegant and luxurious armchair. But that’s not it, its embracing backrest ensures the right posture, refrains from straining the back, and underlines the ergonomics. The armrests elevate the level of comfort. Exemplary of its name ‘Shell’, its engulfing seat still stands as a distinguished aspect that hugs the user harmoniously. To make this armchair more comfortable, two cushions are added.

The makers Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba define it as “a collection characterized by a sort of shell, with very soft cushions. The project features a very thin structure and a characteristic curvature that gives an iconic shape to the product.” Reveling in refined and supple shapes, the Shell has a quality to blend in living spaces, flaunting minimal décor, as it will alone become a feature element to the space.

Next we have the monobloc Prisma sofa. It is truly a stand out piece of furniture that appears to be no less than a sculpture. As we aforementioned, it is a monobloc sofa, which means it is made of a single element. Indicative of the design philosophy of minimalism, the sofa focuses more on details, comfort, proportions, and less on the consumption of different materials.

The sofa has a textured upholstery in a soothing hue to bring life to any bland spaces. Other than that, it’s a large sofa with a lot of sitting space, perfect for gatherings. The D’AX design collection effortlessly blends the functionality with modern design to transform your space into a more welcoming and beautiful haven.
