Denver-based innovator Peter Wu aims to solve this with Decktok V1 – a sleek, foldable ambient light designed to travel with you. Touted as the world’s first foldable outdoor mood lamp, the Decktok V1 features a vertical bar design just like the Nanoleaf smart floor lamp, but with added flexibility of a segmented light tube design that allows you to shape it in different ways.
Each segment of the lamp can rotate 270 degrees and fold 180 degrees, so you can easily shape and position the light to your needs. You can adjust light settings for each section separately for cool gradient and multicolor effects. Using it is simple, just unfold and shape it your way, then set the mood with dynamic RGB colors customizable using the Tuya Smart app.
The lamp can emit over a million colors to let you create perfect ambiance for any occasion, whether you are reading, working, relaxing or hosting a party. Light settings are easily controlled from the app, where you can adjust brightness, change colors, and set timers. For added convenience, the lamp can be operated using onboard buttons or voice commands via Alexa.
It also features 44 built-in scene modes and six music modes that sync lighting with sound for a more immersive experience. A key feature of the Decktok V1 is that it remembers your last brightness and light mode, even if it has turned off or unplugged. When you turn it back on, it picks up right where you left off.
With portability in mind, the Decktok V1 features a 10,000mAh battery that powers the lamp for up to four hours. It comes with handy accessories like a base, grounding cone, and spikes for quick and easy setup. Weighing about 2.7 lbs (1.2 kg), it is lightweight enough to carry anywhere.

The Decktok V1 portable lamp measures 2.95 x 2.95 x 15.75 inches when folded and extends to 2.95 x 2.95 x 53.1 inches when fully unfolded.
