  • Begin by gluing a handful of skewers around the outline of the coaster, making the pointy ends join in the center above
  • Next, wrap your yarn around it. Start from the top and move toward the base
  • Once the skewers are wrapped nicely with the yarn, add fairy lights
  • For embellishments, glue pearls or beads onto the yarn
  • Add a tree topper star to finish the last touches

And that’s it! Your DIY Christmas tree with skewers and yarn is all decked up to adorn your tabletops. Follow the video tutorial for detailed instructions. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Merry Christmas, folks!

Listening to her grandmother weaving nighttime tales to penning down her own thoughts, Priya developed a penchant for stories and their origin early in her childhood. After her master's in literature, she started writing copiously on diverse topics including architecture, interior design trends, and home improvement while learning the ropes of copyediting. For the past couple of years, she has been crafting DIYs for Homecrux. Reading novels, painting, and baking are her favorites on her long list of hobbies.
