As we see in most of the cases, basement – a very important of a home – remains untidy, unused. However, a few genius people make a real good use of this idle spacious accommodation by converting it into a beautiful extra bedroom, home office, home theater, or a garage. To make such places livable, we need to do some painstaking work and small DIY projects. Such small and wise makeover makes these places worthy. An anonymous DIYer having similar interest and motto has tried to do some trick in his messy garage using his tools to make it look more organized. He has made beautiful looking garage cabinets with built-in under-cabinet lighting to give his project a typical Tron appearance so that he doesn’t lose his tools or small screws while doing some repair work.

First, he hung premade cabinets on the wall and installed a garage work table underneath the wall cabinets and covered it with a simple and cheaper plywood tabletop. Then, the vacant place between the tabletop and wall cabinets, he fitted a pegboard having neat edgework to conceal cluttered wiring. Finally gave a finishing touch to the cracks & other rough edges, connected built-in lights to AC power socket and the ultimate outcome is in front of you. The whole DIY project cost him around $900.
