With tons of designs, modern upgrades, and size configurations, the tiny house industry is blooming more colorfully than the fall leaves. These compact dwellings usually range between 100 and 500 square feet, but in some states in the USA, any home under 1,000 square feet can be considered a tiny home. A case in point is the Dogwood Modular Tiny House by Georgia-based builder Mustard Seed Tiny Homes.

The Dogwood tiny house sits on the bigger side of the tiny house movement, with an interior measuring 750 square feet. This modular house is a perfect model for permanent residence or a vacation rental; unfortunately, you cannot take a house this size out on the road.

The 52-foot-long micro-dwelling comes with two bedrooms, a full kitchen, a big loft, a residential-style bathroom, and a light-filled living room. It has big glass French doors that welcome you inside the cooking space. The L-shaped kitchen is designed for preparing lavish meals for the entire family.

It has large countertops, an electric range, a full-size refrigerator, a dishwasher, an over-range microwave, custom overhead and under-counter cabinets, open shelves, stainless steel sink. There is a kitchen island that can double as a dining table.

Past the kitchen is the main bedroom of the Dogwood. It has a double closet, a double-drawer dresser doubling as a desk, and space for a king-size bed. A bright and airy living room is next to the kitchen. It has plenty of space for a couch, a coffee table, and an entertainment center.

The bathroom is past the living room, adjacent to another ground-floor bedroom. It has a bathtub-shower combo, a toilet, a vanity sink, and a washer-dryer unit in a closet. The bedroom next to the bathroom has a double closet, a double-drawer dresser with a desk, and space for a queen-size bed.

Outside, a storage-integrated staircase leads to a giant loft area. The loft can be used as a bedroom and play area for kids, guests, or storage. It can also be used as an entertainment zone.

The Dogwood Modular Tiny House has numerous windows to keep it light-filled and fresh, comes equipped with modern appliances, and offers tons of customization options. The price for this tiny-ish house starts at $200,000, but if you have the money to spare and the desire to adopt the downsized lifestyle for the entire family, the Dogwood is the perfect choice for you.

I love tiny homes, but half of them cost just as much as a regular 🏡 home. My purpose for a tiny home would be to save a good amount of 🤑💰 money

Well if anyone is paying attention the Dogwood is $200.000!!!!! For that price you can buy a house in the right area.
Tiny homes might not be a scam as Nancy says, but they are totally out of most peoples price range.
As for a mobile home. Nah you can’t get them for a reasonable price anymore and the construction is meant to fall apart and a lot of states & counties are not giving permits for them anymore.
But they will if it’s a modular on a foundation. So a cheaply built home considered a house where the property taxes are higher but it does not appreciate in value
Let’s face it folks. We can’t afford to live the American dream in America anymore. I say let’s all commune!!!!!

Gross! Commune? Ever lived with people who seem to be the “perfect” fit at first but then end up being filthy dirty, don’t ever seem to pay bills on time and fight with their significant other non-stop? Well I have and let me tell you, I will continue to live in my 22 foot RV with my brother until I am 90 or until this thing finally falls apart. But, we bought it new 5 years ago, and because we are not lazy, negative random conversationalist (okay that last one doesn’t apply to upkeep on our dwelling;) our little RV is just as good if not better than the day we bought it. People, don’t let others blare their ideas of how long these kind of dwellings may or may not last. Or their ideals on hippie communes.

Beautiful! But the price is not good for those who are struggling, for different reasons. I realize it is much bigger then other Tiny Homes are out there. Also, I realize the craftmaship and involved quality however I can buy a house house farther out from large cities. I have begun to look outside of Atlanta GA and many houses around $20before. some below. I wanted a Tiny Home but I rather have a regular one at that price.

Good luck to all Tiny Home people.

You can get much more for much less money by buying a mobile home. Tiny homes are a scam!

It is hard for some people to really appreciate the art of tiny homes. I am truly a fan of them. I love them, from the creativity to the construction of them. They are amazing.
