What are the robotic vacuum cleaners up to at IFA 2025, you ask? They are gearing up to climb stairs and leave you nothing to do, even if you live in a multi-story home. Just yesterday, we saw Eufy’s Marswalker, designed to transport a robotic vacuum up and down a flight of stairs at IFA, and today, we are privy to another similar concept from Dreame. Meet the Cyber X that can also traverse a robot vacuum up and down the stairs to autonomously clean multiple-story homes.
After being highly efficient at cleaning, mopping, sneaking under furniture, and picking up things to keep your home not only clean but also organized, perhaps reaching upstairs without manual assistance was all left for the robot vacuum cleaners to do. This is exactly what some manufacturers, including Dreame, are aiming to achieve.
Dreame Cyber X
The idea is still in conceptual stage for Dreame, but Eufy could take the lead with its Marswalker slated to launch later this year. It is designed to tackle a straight, L- or U-shaped flight of stairs, but at the time of writing, we do not have confirmation on what sort of flight of stairs the Dreame Cyber X can negotiate.
Besides, both the haulers are pretty much similar in what they can do, though ambiguity looms on which robot vacuums are compatible with them. Marswalker uses its four independently controlled robotic arms to take it up and down the stairs autonomously, while the Cyber X has large treads that turn vertically to gauge the height of the stairs, and then pivot horizontally to move the robot “fluidly up the stairs.”
This information was shared by PCMag’s senior writer Andrew Gebhart, who watched the Cyber X in action. “Because it’s a concept, Dreame hasn’t announced any availability or pricing details. The company also hasn’t said which of its robot vacuums are compatible, or what types of staircases it can traverse,” he noted.

Dreame Cyber10 Ultra
In addition to this stair climbing robot, Dreame has also launched an arm-equipped robot vacuum at IFA 2025. Called Cyber10 Ultra, this is a direct competitor to the Roborock Saros Z70, launched in January this year. The Cyber10 Ultra is ready for retail and, like its competitor, has a retractable robotic arm extension to grip objects from the floor and put them neatly away before continuing with its cleaning and mopping chores.
In comparison to Roborock’s ability to lift objects weighing less than 10.6 ounces, the Cyber10 Ultra can handle more weight. It can, according to information, lift objects weighing up to 17 ounces, hindering its cleaning path. Setting the Cyber10 Ultra apart is also its base station that has compartments for three different tools, the vacuum’s robot arm can grab and use to reach and clean areas that it would not have been able to access otherwise.

Dreame Max10 Ultra
Third in the list of Dreame’s IFA 2025 releases is the Max10 Ultra, a robot vacuum cleaner that is highly focused on efficient and speckless mopping, with a feature not seen before. The Max10 Ultra has three different types of spinning mop pads – Nylon pads for grease stains, Spongy pads for tiles, and Thermal pads for hardwood floors – in its base station. The vacuum can automatically switch between them depending on the preferred type for the flooring it has to clean. Dreame Max10 Ultra hybrid robot vacuum and mop is expected to launch in Europe in September, but there is not word US price or release date yet.
