Dreame Technology has introduced its latest robot vacuum, the X30 Ultra, at CES 2024 and it comes with useful added functionality. The DreameBot X30 Ultra not only vacuums but also mops. It features a self-cleaning base station with two built-in scrapers that automatically clean the base station plates, washes the mop with hot water, and then dries using hot air. This eliminates the need for manual cleaning which a lot of homeowners will appreciate.

If you are curious about what sets it apart? Well, it offers an optional Water Hookup Kit. This feature lets you connect the base station to your house’s plumbing, eliminating the need to manually refill the water tank.

The X30 Ultra holds up to 3.2L of dirt and automatically empties its internal dustbin into the base station when it’s docked. Owing to the large dust container, it only needs to be emptied up to once every 75 days.

Furthermore, the robot vacuum also uses Dreame’s first Anti-Tangle TriCut Brush that can cut tangled hair from the brushes and store the strands in its dust bag. According to the company, the X30 Ultra also includes MopExtend RoboSwing Technology that employs a Flex Arm to reach all the nooks and crannies of your home as far as 4cm.

When mopping, the X30 Ultra robot vacuum can automatically lift its mop head 10.5mm to avoid carpets and if it’s not enough, it returns to the base station and drops the mop head before returning to the cleaning session.

The robot vacuum uses intelligent 3D mapping and path planning provided by its smart navigation technology to create customized cleaning for every room. There are built-in sensors that work continuously to detect and avoid different types of obstacles like cables, shoes, pets, etc.

The X30 Ultra robot vacuum has a digital motor with 8300Pa suction power that can make it run for up to 260 minutes in Quiet Mode. It cleans up to 243m² area on a single charge and returns to its dock to recharge automatically when the power runs low.

The Dreame X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop will be available for pre-order later this year, with prices starting at $1,700.
