Dyson’s latest PencilVac vacuum cleaner has been unveiled, and it is perfect for those looking for a lightweight and powerful design. The vacuum cleaner contains a motor, a battery, and a dustbin in a tubular handle that measures 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) in diameter. It is powered by Dyson’s smallest and fastest Hyperdymium motor that spins at 140,000 RPM to generate 55 AW of suction power.
The new Dyson vacuum has a special cleaner head with four cone-shaped brushes on two brush bars arranged at the front and back. The brushes spin in opposite directions and extend to the sides to easily clean along walls and in corners. The cone shape prevents hair from tangling, automatically removing it.
With a thin streamlined shape and lightweight design, PencilVac is easy to maneuver around the house. It lies flat to the floor and can reach gaps just 95 mm high, so you can clean under low furniture with ease. There are also new green LED lights that illuminate dust and debris so you can see when floors have been properly cleaned.
The PencilVac weighs about 3.96 pounds (1.8 kg) and is meant to be used in all kinds of hard-to-reach areas. Its cleaning head is designed for use on hard floors and can be equipped with additional attachments like a crevice tool for overhead cleaning and anti-tangle screw tool to clean mattresses and sofas.
Dyson PencilVac is equipped with a two-stage linear dust separation system that separates dust and dirt from the airflow while preventing filter clogging and loss of suction power. This system captures 99.99 percent of fine particles as small as 0.3 microns. In addition, the separated dust is automatically compressed to store more dust in the 0.8-liter bin.

The PencilVac has a swappable battery pack with 30 minutes of suction power, and you can charge the machine on its magnetic charging dock in about 3.5 hours. There is also an option for a one-touch removable spare battery that offers up to 60 minutes of operating time.
The vac has an onboard LCD screen that shows the cleaning mode and battery power. It connects to the MyDyson mobile app to access additional settings and get maintenance alerts.
There are no words about the pricing yet, but the Dyson PencilVac has currently launched in Japan and Australia. The US buyers have to wait until 2026.
