EcoFlow is well known for making battery-powered camping gear, and it has just upgraded its WAVE 2 portable air conditioner with improved power and cooling capacity. The new WAVE 3 is said to drop the temperature by 15 degrees Fahrenheit in just 15 minutes with 6100 BTU power. The heating capacity has also been improved – now it comes with 6800 BTU heating that can raise the temperature by 17 degrees Fahrenheit in just 15 minutes.
Measuring 20.4×11.7×13.2 inches and weighing around 33.7 lbs (14.5 kg), it is perfectly sized for outdoor use, whether on RV adventures or camping trips. It can be suitable for spaces ranging from 118 to 183 square feet. Its folding exhaust duct makes it easy to set up the AC in a few minutes.
The add-on 1024Wh LFP battery provides up to eight hours of cooling in Eco Mode and boasts a long lifespan of 4,000 cycles. The WAVE 3 battery fully charges in just 75 minutes and supports various charging methods, including AC power, solar panels, car charging, and the EcoFlow Alternator Charger.
The WAVE 3 has an Automatic Mode that switches between cooling and heating based on real-time temperature changes. A Pet Care Mode automatically turns on cooling if the in-car temperature exceeds 77 degrees Fahrenheit and alerts the user. Other key features include Sleep Mode, which runs quietly at just 44dB, and a dehumidification function that lets you control humidity for added comfort.
