When portable projectors are getting so much hype, how can the most trusted projector brand, Epson, stay behind? The brand has launched the Lifestudio Flex series of portable laser projectors designed to deliver an immersive cinematic experience right in your home. What makes these lifestyle projectors stand out is a custom-designed audio system developed in partnership with Bose and a unique table lamp-like appearance.
Epson’s new Lifestudio Flex projectors, featuring sound technology developed with Bose, provide clear and powerful audio that matches the visuals perfectly. These projectors deliver rich, balanced sound from a compact form factor. There are four sound modes to choose from to get the best audio experience without needing extra speakers.
The Flex series has two projectors, both with 3-chip 3LCD Triple Core Engine technology and built-in Google TV. The Flex Plus model offers 4K UHD resolution and 1,000 lumens of brightness, while the standard model provides HD resolution with 700 lumens. Both project images up to 150 inches. Another highlight of the Flex Plus is that it also features mood lighting.

Both models have an adjustable stand, letting you project clear images on almost any flat surface. Epson’s EpiqSense 2.0 Auto-Setup quickly adjusts focus, color, and alignment. You can also use the Epson Projection Studio app to create and share videos, control volume, and navigate easily. Furthermore, the built-in Google Assistant and Google TV simplify searching, streaming, and connecting devices.
The Epson Lifestudio Flex projectors measure 7.5 x 7.5 x 9.7 inches and weigh about 8.8 lbs, making them easy to carry around the home. They are available now on the official website, with prices starting at $850 for the standard Flex model and $1,000 for the Flex Plus model.
