The Colorado-based private boutique hotel company, Juniper Lodges & Treehouses, recently unveiled the first luxury treehouse hotel in North Central Evergreen, Colorado. The adult-only treehouse hotel lets you discover beautiful starlit summits and gilded dreams within the elevated forest escape.

The two distinct treehouses offer an ethereal and grounded stay where you can feel the quiet adventure of a mountaineer and the golden dream of a Colorado miner. Just a 30-minute drive from Denver, accompanied by a short hike, will land you in the luxurious treehouse accommodation. Each of the two distinct treehouses has its own unique charm and aesthetics. Let’s take a closer look at the elevated tree-top hotels.

The Mountaineer’s Treehouse

The Mountaineer’s Treehouse offers an immersive stay where you feel connected to the wild. Inspired by the stillness of the mountaintop, it is ideal for those looking for a quiet, adventurous stay. The treehouse sits 25 feet above the lush forested landscape.

Stretching across 206 square feet, its wood-clad exterior includes a private deck and wooden rocking chairs enveloped by towering pine trees. Its interior feels like an airy refuge with walls clad in light natural wood, surrounded by gray stone elements, and climbing greenery.

The large skylight, also known as the sky wall over the bedroom, allows you to gaze at the starry night sky while you lie down on the bed. Above the main living zone, a lofted net hammock gives you a mid-air lounging experience. Even the walk-in shower has a skylight, which provides a spa-like rain shower under the natural light. Another major highlight is the turret-shaped dining nook that turns the interior into a cave-like dwelling.

The Miner’s Treehouse

The Miner’s Treehouse provides a bold yet beautiful stay, ideal for a couple seeking a romantic getaway. Inspired by Colorado’s gold mining era, the spacious treehouse covers 398 square feet, perched 25 feet high amid tall pine trees.

The wooden exterior of the treehouse has ample glazing and a skylight that brightens its interior. You can lounge on the wooden bench rocker on the private deck and admire the lush mountains. The gorgeous interior with gold accents and rugged wood texture honors the region’s mining heritage.

The main highlight of this treehouse is the shimmering copper clawfoot soaking tub under the skylight. Its classic designer appeal accentuates the spa-like feel of the full bathroom. The sleeping area includes a plush king-size bed, a skylight, and a gleaming chandelier.

The owners of the company, Alea and Ashley, collaborated with several specialized firms to bring the luxury treehouse hotel to life. The Treecraft Design Build, an architectural firm based in Fort Collins, designed the treehouses while SummitRidge Custom Homes, based in Golden, Colorado, helped build. When it comes to the interior, the Dliv Design, an interior design studio, created the gorgeous Colorado aesthetics.

Each lodging at the Luxury Treehouse hotel accommodates two people and offers a breathtaking escape to a quaint forest. Both treehouses offer nearly the same amenities, but the difference in their architecture, interior design, and décor will leave you amazed. Whether you seek a light, adventurous escape or a refined, elegant suite, your hosts await to welcome you to the forest.

Experience mid-air lounging in the lofted hammock net and admire the quaint forested landscape through the glazing.
