The modular furniture industry is a sea of amazing designs, but sometimes it gets boring. That is why when something unique arrives, it feels like a fresh breath of air. The Folke sofa by Folke Furniture does exactly that. With its four modules, it lets you create numerous combinations to fit your lounging needs. You can start small and create larger, fun combinations effortlessly within minutes.

While the idea is pretty basic, the execution is new. It will remind you of early modular furniture designs, which were co-opted by people living in rather small spaces. Its multifunctional approach further enhances its usability in modern homes and even dorm rooms.

Need a single seat? A two-person gaming couch? A bigger sofa? A pillow fort? Yes! All of this is possible. Change the modules, change the vibes. The four modules can be arranged within seconds.

Start with two modules, creating a single seat, and then add the other two modules to chill with your partner. Re-arrange the four as per your wish when your family grows or guests arrive. As life grows, you can add more modules to create even bigger settings to fit the space because this modular sofa grows with you.

The Folke sofa doesn’t have a hard frame, which makes it super easy to move the modules around without worrying about any tools or screws. It’s incredibly effortless to create seating arrangements, too.

Just start with a single setup, then you can expand the seats over time as needed. Play around and rearrange the combinations whenever you wish to. And you can singularly replace the parts of the sofa without having to replace the whole of it.

If you are wondering about the assembly, that’s even easier. The sofas arrive compressed into parcel-sized cardboard boxes and expand in no time once out of them. Just zip up the covers and start stacking them as you like. The foam used is lightweight, which means no heavy lifting is required. Arrange and rearrange the sofa as much as you wish.

The upholstery fabric is made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled polyester from plastic bottles. Moreover, you can remove the covers and wash them, making the cleaning easy. If you get bored with the same color, there is a solution for that, too. You can replace the covers with different-colored ones and create a different lounging experience.

Currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter, you can get one at a super early bird price of $1,455. The Folke Sofa lets you channel your inner designer. Available in several colors like grey, blue, pink, light green, brown, white, etc., the sofa lets you fill your space with a seating solution for every occasion.
