Swiss audio manufacturer Goldmund has launched its new Theia range of architectural loudspeakers that combines luxurious design style with hi-fi audio. Inspired by Theia, the Greek goddess of sight and light, this passive stereo speaker system pays tribute to the beauty of the sky, sun, and moon. It is not only an audio marvel but also a piece of art. Each part, from the drivers to the cabinet, is carefully designed for the best audio experience.

Theia floorstanding loudspeakers are built from sleek silver-grey aluminum with matching grids that give them a modern, monolithic look. Their angled, linear silhouette resembles sculpted stone, with no visible seams or joints on the cabinet. The four-way design includes a soft dome tweeter, a 12-inch woofer, and two midrange drivers (4-inch and 6-inch) for detailed sound.

Theia loudspeaker uses powerful 875-watt Goldmund Telos amplifiers to deliver clear, strong sound, even at high volumes. It covers a wide range of sound, from deep bass to sharp highs, for a rich listening experience. According to the spec sheet, it reaches a frequency response of 20Hz to 25kHz.

Goldmund equipped the speaker with its proprietary software, Proteus LS, which calculates system impedance, volume velocity, membrane displacement, and sound pressure to offer an immersive sound experience. On the other hand, Leonardo’s time correction technology, through its Digital Processing System (DSP), eliminates phase distortion to ensure every note and chord sounds clear.

Theia loudspeakers offer wired and wireless connectivity, giving users greater flexibility in setup and use. If you wish to buy one, it does not come at a cheap price. As noted by Gear Patrol, you have to shed a whopping $215,000 to get a pair of Theia loudspeakers.
