Do you need a helping hand? It is a statement we all often hear from people around us, but New York-based noknok Studio, founded by designers Eika Weber and Vincent Zigarelli, took this statement and crafted the Helping Hand, a side table that waits on your hand and foot wherever you need.

The table is designed with a curved walnut arm that extends in a friendly, supportive gesture, ready to hold your morning coffee, favorite book, or anything your heart calls for. Exhibited at the Wanted section of the design fair ICFF during NYCxDesign 2025, Helping Hand is manufactured from solid oak and walnut.

The side table has three elements: a conical shape, the arm protruding at the two-thirds mark like a hand waiting, and the 3D elliptical tabletop. Its curved arm is made from solid walnut, which uplifts the table’s friendly appearance. The tabletop comes detached, and you get to attach it with built-in hardware.

This side table is an adorable and sculptural furniture with soft and visually pleasing curves, exuding a sense of joy and calm. The maker created this quirky piece of furniture with the sole intention of making users connect and form a lasting connection with the objects in their home. The side table is designed to be your reliable companion that brings a sense of wonder and comfort in your life.

You can place it in your bedroom, living room, or anywhere in your home. No matter the place, the side table is ready with your daily routines, offering a helping hand. With this side table, you can keep your books, coffee, and other decorative things that bring you joy closer.

Helping Hand side table is both a statement piece and a functional furniture that feels like a part of a family, always waiting on your hand and foot. Priced at $7,500, materials and finishing are customizable, available in a selection of wood combinations and stain finishes.
