Hisense offers a wide range of projectors, including the PX1-PRO TriChroma 4K UST and the high-brightness L9Q TriChroma Laser TV, which are already ruling the hearts of people around the world. Expanding its lineup, the brand has introduced the M2 Pro 4K laser mini projector, designed to deliver impressive picture quality in a portable form. Touted as Hisense’s smallest, lightest, and most portable laser projector yet, the M2 Pro showcases the brand’s ability to miniaturize advanced laser and AI technologies without compromising the quality.
Featuring a 360-degree gimbal stand, the M2 Pro 4K projector can be adjusted at different angles, which means you can even project on the ceiling. It uses a miniaturized version of Hisense’s Pure Triple Color Laser tech with separate red, green, and blue lasers for vivid, accurate colors. With a DLP system and 2.07 million micromirrors, it projects sharp 4K images up to 200 inches. The projector is able to deliver 1,200 ANSI lumens of brightness and 1,000:1 native contrast.
The Hisense M2 Pro stands out with advanced AI 4K Clarity technology that enhances the viewing experience. Its AI 4K Upscaler turns low-resolution videos into detailed 4K. AI Noise Reduction removes grainy visuals for a cleaner picture, while the AI HDR Upscaler improves contrast and brightness for a more lifelike image.
As the latest advancement in the portable projection industry, the M2 Pro features Optical Zoom with a 1.0–1.3 throw ratio. This allows users to fine-tune image size and distance without sacrificing 4K clarity, unlike digital zoom, which often reduces image quality.
Hisense has equipped the M2 Pro with smart picture adjustment features like auto keystone correction and auto focus to make setup quick and easy. The projector automatically adjusts the picture quality to its surroundings and even adjusts colors to match the wall it is projected on. It also supports Dolby Vision and multiple HDR formats to ensure rich visuals with enhanced contrast.

When it comes to sound, the M2 Pro delivers an immersive audio experience with built-in Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X. Powered by VIDAA’s Smart OS, it allows direct streaming from popular platforms like Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+, all accessible through the included voice-enabled remote.
The projector also includes HDMI and USB ports for easy connection to external devices. Additional standout features include Filmmaker Mode for authentic cinema viewing, low-latency MEMC for smoother motion, support for AirPlay 2 and Apple Home, and a versatile 1.0 to 1.3:1 throw ratio for flexible placement.
The Hisense M2 Pro is not truly portable, as you need to plug it into a wall outlet, but its compact size and ergonomic handle make it easy to move around the house or outdoors. It is slated to be available for pre-sale online starting next week in the US. As noted by New Atlas, it will cost S$1,299 when available in local markets.
