Located on a wooded property in Taiwan’s Zhubei City, the HOH Café is a shipping container coffee shop that offers a serene and welcoming environment for the area’s residents. This structure is built by Infeel Architects who’ve converted old shipping containers into the main portion of the café.

Its rusty iron details evoke the original materials and for the contrast, wood is immensely used to help the shop blend into its surrounding natural environment. In combination with black, the overall aesthetic seems quite impressive. The continuously extending wooden counter presents enough space for the barista and adds special posture and appearance to the coffee shop.

Aside from the cafe, the main site is also uniquely decked with gravel and old sleepers for a charming look. There are also warm and subtle lights along with hanging decorative features and planters for a naturalistic feel. The designers have even included an outdoor sitting area.

Measuring just 560 square feet, the HOH Cafe was completed in 2020. It is built as a quiet place for the local residents to spend some time peacefully in natural ambiance.
