This unique, award-winning couch designed and produced by French designer Lila Demarcq draws inspiration from the memories of her childhood spent in South Africa. Named Isiqu, it comprises a metal structure, three cushions, and a knitted mat to comfortably sit or relax. It creates low seating that is ideal for a person to shuffle through sitting positions, also it can be used by multiple people simultaneously.
Two cushions are stacked one above the other to create the main seating and the third one is used to rest legs or like a hug pillow while resting on the floor.
The mat creates a comfy space to lie down while reading or relaxing. Made of multiple materials, the Isiqu hybrid sofa is good for solo times and also when you have couple of friends home for a game of cards.
The unique metal frame and handmade covers are highlights of the sofa. Furthermore, the dark but comforting colors, embellished with textured details add a warm and noble look to the Isiqu hybrid sofa.
