Austria-based Alpenmoebel creates unique designer furniture using traditional items and new design elements, making them perfect for collectors and woodworking enthusiasts. Have a look at this cooking island to get an idea of their design approach, which is to combine articles in a manner to strike an instant charm.

This one-of-a-kind kitchen island is crafted from a solid wood carpenter’s workbench. It will make an ideal addition to a woodworking enthusiast’s kitchen. Designed to be an instant conversation starter, it comes with dimmable under-table lighting, large secret compartment, under-table drawers, towel hooks, side pull-out basket, and a few other useful features.

A standout amid all is the fact that the island can be placed anywhere in the room. Also, with storage space for almost everything you would need, the island ensures important cooking utensils are always at hand. Pre-fitted with induction plate, sinks and faucet, this is made especially for modern-day chefs who love to cook with their phones by their side and music to remain in groove.

The kitchen island features a rotatable smartphone stand and an inductive charging station, a removable Bluetooth speaker, and a concealed 220v socket with USB ports on the bottom.
