Kohler’s new Anthem EvoCycle smart shower aims at lowering water usage, offering a great innovation that people need for sustainable living. It is a recirculating dual-mode system that offers up to 80 percent water savings, according to the brand. The main idea revolves around filtering and treating shower water for recirculating it to the showerhead again.
The core highlight of the Anthem EvoCycle is its ability to reuse shower water. You can use fresh water from the handshower in Standard mode, while filtered, recirculated water is used in Cycle mode to save water.
Once you activate Cycle Mode, it creates a hybrid water mixture by combining 0.5 gallons of fresh water with recirculated water that is cleaned through a filter. The reservoir filter is dishwasher safe, meaning you can clean and reuse it over time. Finally, it is delivered back through the showerhead for a sustainable shower experience.
The shower system has a built-in ozone cleaning feature that runs an automated cleaning cycle after each use to ensure hygiene. It uses ozone to disinfect the internal components and recirculated water.
There is also a deep cleaning cycle that can be used every month for automated maintenance. These features can be activated at the touch of a button from the Anthem EvoCycle digital control or through the Kohler Konnect app.

The shower system features an intuitive digital interface for starting and stopping the shower, adjusting temperature, and running cleaning cycles.
