Among thousands of tiny house makers across the globe, Decathlon Tiny Homes and Baluchon are probably the only two that introduce a new model every month. Since we recently covered Baluchon’s Cardabelle tiny house, it’s time we shed some light on Decathlon Tiny Homes’ latest creation, the Lady Bird tiny house.

Inspired by the company’s famous Poseidon Model, the Lady Bird tiny house offers a remarkable combination of space, style, and efficiency, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to embrace the tiny lifestyle without sacrificing comfort. The 32-foot-long dwelling comes poised on a triple-axle trailer and is designed for full-time living or a weekend getaway.

Akin to other Poseidon models coming from the foundry of Decathlon Tiny Homes, the Lady Bird boasts a floor plan that focuses on maximizing usable space while maintaining a cozy atmosphere. One of the standout features of the floorplan is the private ground-floor bedroom, which is thoughtfully designed with two closets for ample storage. This bedroom accommodates a queen-size mattress, offering a comfortable and convenient space to rest. For those who enjoy a little extra space, there’s a sleeping area in the loft.

Access to the loft is gained via stairs that come with safety rails and egress windows ensuring safety and convenience. Spacious enough for a queen-size mattress, the loft sleeps two people with ease. In addition to the loft and the bedroom, the tiny house also features a full kitchen with butcher block countertops, a two-burner cooktop, a 30-inch microwave, and a refrigerator. There’s even a convenient washer/dryer hookup, giving you the option to install stackable units or a combo unit to suit your needs.

Adjacent to the kitchen is the bathroom which features a dual-threshold shower, a standard flush toilet, and a vanity with a bathroom sink. With its well-thought-out design, the bathroom offers everything you need in a compact space without compromising on comfort. The 30-gallon water heater ensures a steady supply of hot water, whether you’re washing dishes, showering, or doing laundry. The Lady Bird is also equipped with an 18k multihead HVAC mini split, ensuring a comfortable environment year-round, no matter the weather outside.

The tiny home exterior features a three-section roof design, featuring two gable sections and one hip section, each adding a distinctive look to the home. The exterior is finished with smart siding and is painted for both durability and visual appeal.

For those looking to personalize their tiny house further, the Lady Bird offers a range of optional upgrades. These upgrades include a washer and dryer stackable unit, a composting toilet, a skylight, and a tankless water heater, among many others. If you prefer additional ventilation or style, you can opt for retractable ceiling fans or a ‘fandelier’ (fan+chandelier) to complement your living space. The exact price of the Lady Bird tiny house is unknown but based on the company’s Poseidon model history, we expect it to cost above $100K.
