Germany-based tiny house builder Berghaus has a handful of models under its belt, each built to impress. The Langenberg is one of its tiny houses on wheels, which flaunts an ingenious design within an incredibly compact footprint. The Langenberg tiny house features a porch, a hidden loft within the loft bedroom, a cozy living room, a bathroom, and a compact kitchen.

Built on a double-axle trailer, the 19.6-foot-long tiny house features a steel frame and thermal pine exterior. The interior is clad in spruce wood walls, and warm wooden floors, and has seven windows. Although simple and cozy, the Langenberg tiny house takes the breath away with its unique design that features a hidden loft space within the loft bedroom, which the maker calls a built-in, covered terrace.

Moreover, the front porch can seat two people with ease and paves the way into the snug interior. The front door opens into a walkway, flanked by a compact kitchen on one side and a bathroom on the other. The kitchenette has a two-burner cooktop, oven, refrigerator, ventilation hood, sink, and storage cabinets. The bathroom has a rain shower, an eco-friendly incineration toilet, and a vanity sink.

On the other end of the house, a living room takes up the entire open floor. The living room has a convertible sofa, wall-mounted television, and a foldable table. It serves as a secondary sleeping space for guests, while big windows bring in plenty of natural light.

A typical ladder is fixed in the living room to access the loft bedroom. With spruce wood paneling, the loft is plain and comfy. The loft has space for a queen-size mattress and some shelves. A tiny door in the end wall of the loft has a small door that opens into a hidden loft with discrete shelving.

Aside from its exquisitely clever layout, the Langenberg tiny house also enables off-grid living. The house is outfitted with a photovoltaic system, a freshwater system with a pump, and gray water tanks. Priced at $72,800, the Langenberg is perfect to be taken out with you on your wild excursions.
