Much like last year, brands are focusing more on mini-LED TVs, making them a straight competition to OLED models. After the launch of Samsung, Philips, Hisense, and TCL mini-LED TVs this year, LG Electronics has joined the race with its 2026 QNED evo Mini LED TV lineup. Compared to the 2025 models, these new TVs bring significant hardware and software upgrades, including an advanced processor and AI-enhanced features. The main highlight is the new 115-inch and 100-inch ultra-large models, allowing for big-screen entertainment at home.
This year, LG has improved QNED’s picture quality with Dynamic QNED Color Pro and Precision Dimming Ultra. The Dynamic QNED Color Pro optimizes color mapping to maintain rich and accurate tones even in bright HDR scenes. Intertek has verified that the TV can achieve 100 percent color volume even when the screen is big and bright.
The 2026 QNED TVs are powered by LG’s α (Alpha) 8 AI Processor Gen 3 to ensure high-quality visuals on big screens up to 115 inches. LG says the AI processor lends its OLED light control capability to its QNED TV. Furthermore, Precision Dimming Ultra utilizes thousands of local dimming zones for better light control, resulting in fine detail in dark scenes.
The processor also allows AI-powered enhancements designed to elevate the viewing experience. The first is the AI Super Upscaling feature, which analyzes on-screen objects with deep learning algorithms and refines texture, edges, and fine details to produce more natural-looking 4K visuals.
Next up is the AI Picture Pro, which identifies and enhances faces, bodies, and other key elements to improve depth and detail. The Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro analyzes each frame to refine resolution, brightness, and clarity while AI Sound Pro immerses viewers in virtual 11.1.2 channel surround sound through the TV’s built-in speakers.

The TVs come with the latest webOS 26 platform, offering access to new features like an integrated Sports Portal and Sports Alert for real-time tracking. There is also a dedicated LG Gaming Portal that offers access to thousands of cloud gaming services directly on the TV.
The latest QNED evo TVs also include other gaming-focused features like variable refresh rate (VRR) of up to 165Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for responsive and lag-free clarity in fast-paced scenes or games. The new Motion Booster further raises the refresh rate to an ultra-fast 330Hz on supported models.
LG’s 2026 QNED evo lineup offers Mini LED models in different sizes to meet different needs. The lineup will be available starting this month in Korea, the U.S., and European countries.
