Personal UV printers are becoming increasingly popular among creators who want to work with multiple materials, but there are limited options. Stepping ahead of many established brands, China-based Longer 3D has introduced ePrint, a compact UV printer designed specifically for personal use. Touted as the world’s first dual-head personal UV printer, it supports more than 300 materials, including glass, ceramic, metal, acrylic, wood, leather, stone, PVC, ABS, and more.
ePrint expands creative possibilities far beyond flat printing, allowing you to print on curved surfaces. Whether you are crafting custom seasonal gifts, unique invitations, or products to sell, this machine lets you do it all in a size that is slightly larger than a standard printer.
With dual printheads powered by 12 ink channels, this ePrint UV printer is designed to provide faster results. There are six flexible ink channels for DTF printing, and the remaining six channels are reserved for UV printing. In this way, all six white channels work simultaneously for stacking ink faster. It allows you to create embossed braille signage, relief sculptures, dimensional prototypes, and tactile branding signs.
The company claims, its dual-head printing can be 1.5-2 times faster for flat printing and reduces time by 50-70 percent. It even works on uneven, textured, or curved surfaces with the 10mm high-gap printing technology. In fact, the printer can achieve embossing heights up to 60mm for a 3D texture effect that takes your designs to the next level.
This personal UV printer is equipped with dual lasers and a 16MP camera to automatically detect shapes and fill the desired patterns, and ensure color accuracy, while its solid metal structure will stay flat even for extended printing periods. Even its aluminum print platform has a black light-absorbing surface to minimize reflection interference.
Each ePrint UV printer holds 12 200ml cartridges, while the ePrint SE has six cartridges. You can use Longer ink or any third-party ink, including DTF inks, food-safe options, and fluorescent options, to expand your creative range. It has a maximum printing area of 310 mm x 420 mm and currently supports JPG and PNG formats.
The ePrint offers 1440 DPI resolution to print accurate colors with optimal clarity. It features four modes, including the Flatbed mode that prints in standard (310 x 75mm) or large format (310 x 420mm) sizes. When equipped with the optional rotary module, it can also handle cylindrical objects with diameters ranging from 40mm to 100mm and lengths of 80mm to 210mm. The Transfer Film mode is great for making embroidered stickers for jackets, bags, and hats. The last one is the Conveyor Belt Printing that lets you print small items via a conveyor belt for batch production and print longer banners.
The printer keeps stirring and circulating white ink to ensure it is ready for printing every time. Another feature to highlight is the auto-cleaning system that enables printheads to purge cleaning tools periodically to prevent clogs when you don’t use it for many days. You can also use external cleaning tools to flush the printheads and ink channels.

The UV printer also includes eight AI tools, including Image re-creation, Text-to-image, Background removal, and Pattern extraction, that will help you generate professional patterns without the help of professional designers. The company has also incorporated an air purification system to ensure a safe environment indoors.
Longer 3D is offering the printer in two models: ePrint and ePrint SE, which majorly differ in the number of printheads and ink channels as well as options in the color profile. The single printhead version measures 590W × 325D × 330H mm, while the dual printhead version is slightly bigger at 650W × 445D × 330H mm.
The ePrint UV printer is successfully crowd-funded on Kickstarter, and you can pre-order the dual-printhead version for $1,899. There are also options for add-on spare parts, inks, and other related devices like a laminator kit, roll-to-roll attachment, and UV cleaning kit.
