The concept of circular furniture has gained immense popularity all around the world, and the latest example is of Polish furniture brand LOOPE, which presented its innovative approach to sustainable design at the 2025 3daysofdesign. At the event, the brand showcased its Effects collection, which focuses on the themes of reuse, reversibility, and sustainability. What makes these pieces unique is their ability to be transformed into entirely new products in the future.
Designed by Studio Rygalik, the Effects range comprises five collections – Armstrong, Rounder, ALLin, OneL, and faT Table – all made for both outdoors and indoors. These pieces are created using a single material, recycled polyethylene, which can be reprocessed over and over again. This approach not only minimizes waste but also demonstrates the creative potential of mono-material circular systems. You first use the furniture pieces for years, and when they are not in use, you can return any of them so that they can be transformed into other furniture to extend their life.
ARMSTRONG is a collection of chairs, benches, and tables for semi-public spaces. Its standout feature is large armrests and a rim that makes the furniture look lighter. The ROUNDER chair, made from recycled materials, is meant for public spaces. It has a circular seat with a soft edge, supported by a central pillar. The chair’s two-part design is easy to assemble and disassemble.
ALLIn chair series features a stylish shell seat and different frame options, including metal, wood, and aluminum. Its universal base allows you to use it like stackable, wooden chairs or stadium seating. The handle also acts as a water drain when used outside.
faT Table is a flexible furniture system that lets you create different table shapes and sizes. It features large pillars like the ROUNDER collection and offers three standard heights: coffee, café, and bar tables. You can also choose custom colors and finishes to fit your style. Lastly, the OneL is a seating system for public spaces made from a single flexible module. The modules can be arranged in many ways, like C, S, or L shapes to fit different seating needs.
The LOOPE furniture pieces are created using roto-molding, which gives them both strength and smooth lines. In this process, the company uses fully valuable materials left over from the production of items such as pots and kayaks. The zero-waste production process and material recyclability make LOOPE furniture strive for circularity.

LOOPE uses a closed-loop system, where it reuses old materials instead of making new ones. Since people often throw away furniture they don’t need, LOOPE’s goal is to design circular furniture pieces that can change shape and be reused. As they say, “If furniture could shapeshift instead of being thrown away, not a single gram of plastic would go to waste.”
The LOOPE furniture collection shows that design can be both responsible and joyful. The brand skillfully combines function, aesthetics, and sustainability, featuring simple forms and smooth, rounded lines. What truly sets LOOPE apart is its unique return program: when you buy a piece, you can return it anytime and have it transformed into another item from the collection at no extra cost. This way, you can always enjoy fresh, functional furniture without waste.
