Keeping lunch warm until mealtime is a common problem, but there are plenty of solutions, including electric lunchboxes. China-based brand LunchGO aims to stand out with its new user-friendly self-heating lunchbox that will automatically start heating your food two hours in advance at your preferred time. This will ensure that even frozen meals have enough time to reach the optimal temperature. As explained by the maker, traditional boxes only retain heat, but the LunchGO actively heats with precise temperature control options.
During the heating process, the LunchGO lunchbox uses a surround constant-temperature heating like a slow cooker to deliver steady heat without any microwaves or harmful chemicals. You can set your preferred temperature through the touchscreen display, with a range of 140–250 degrees Fahrenheit (60–120 degrees Celsius). It can be used for warming everything from pasta and rice to meat and soup.
This smart lunchbox has a wireless heating system that makes mealtime easy. Just put your food in the stainless steel container, lock it to the base, and set your preferred time and temperature. LunchGO will heat your meal automatically so it is ready for lunchtime. In addition, it remembers your settings for next time.
The self-heating lunchbox features a Type-C charging port and a built-in 10,000mAh battery. It comes with a 45W GaN fast charger that charges the battery in just two hours. The device also supports heating while charging.
On a full charge, the LunchGO can heat food for 220 to 300 minutes, depending on the meal type. If you are unable to eat right at the scheduled mealtime, it will maintain the set temperature for up to two hours as long as it has enough battery or is plugged in.
The self-heating lunchbox comes with a stainless steel container with 1.2-liter capacity and a BPA-free PP lid. Both are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. The uniquely designed locking mechanism securely clamps them together to prevent any leakage.

Each LunchGO comes with an insulated bag that has two compartments. The bottom holds the lunchbox, while the top stores utensils, snacks, or fruit. It also includes other accessories like a GaN fast charger, reusable ice packs, and a stainless steel cutlery set.
No mobile app is involved in its operation: all the features can be accessed through the on-screen interface, with support for English, Spanish, French, and Chinese languages. The functionality is simple: you just set the desired time and it keeps your lunch warm for that particular time. Furthermore, you can customize the temperature and time to meet your specific needs.
The LunchGO lunchbox is currently seeking funds through a Kickstarter campaign. You can pre-order one for an early-bird price of $150 right now.
