American appliance brand Maytag, known for long-lasting performance, continues to gain momentum with its latest innovations at KBIS 2026. The Maytag Pet Pro Laundry System is one of the exhibits specifically aimed at people with pets at home. This laundry system has built-in features to help tackle all kinds of pet messes. It can capture pet hairs in the washer unit as efficiently as the dryer unit, and remove odors as well. You get clothes completely clean after the wash cycle.
The Maytag Pet Pro washer system releases additional water and a deep rinse to lift and remove pet hair with help from the built-in Pet Pro Filter. The system also sanitizes clothes with Oxi Cycle, which removes 99.7 percent of odor-causing bacteria with the hottest water temperature settings.
There is also an option to add steam to get deep into the fibers for better cleaning action. Furthermore, you can increase the power with the Extra Power feature to boost stain fighting with an intense pre-wash and extra agitation.
The washer unit comes with Auto Sensing technology that optimizes water levels for each load, while Moisture Sensing automatically adjusts drying time in the dryer. You can control it with onboard controls as well as the companion smartphone app. The mobile app also provides end-of-cycle notifications and step-by-step pretreating instructions to take on tough stains.
Another cool feature is the built-in wash cycles, catering to different needs, including specialty options for activewear, swimwear, and sleeping bags, accessible via the Maytag App. The Affresh Cycle helps keep the washer fresh, while the Quick Wash cycle cleans small loads in 15 minutes and can be paired with the Quick Dry cycle for faster results. You can also save your favorite wash settings as a Custom Cycle for using next time, while Cycle Memory automatically saves your last load preference for every cycle.

The Maytag Pet Pro Laundry System is available in several models in both top-load and front-load configurations that can be paired with matching electric or gas dryers. Both models come with the Pet Pro feature; the only difference is that the top-loaders use a physical filter to trap hair, while front-loaders use powerful drainage and extra rinses. The pricing starts from $1,800 for a combo of washer and dryer.
Each appliance comes with a 10-year limited parts warranty on the direct drive motor and stainless steel wash basket, which is expected from the brand’s reputation.
