Florida-based Modern Times Van Co. converted a 148 Medium Roof Ford Transit van into a minimalistic living space. The custom van conversion includes four seats and room to sleep two people and their three dogs. The van’s simple and practical interior provides the utmost comfort on the road. There is no extravagance in sight just functionality and innovation with basic amenities fitted impeccably in this camper van.
At the entrance, there are two chairs behind the front seats. These chairs are reclining and come with a full range of motion so you can push them backward, along with a swivel on the side. The passenger seat can be swiveled to face the back of the van, this setup creates a perfect hangout space. There is a reading light and a window with a built-in screen.
Next is a kitchen space divided into two sections. The first section has a countertop with a flip-up table to extend the prep space, a deep sink and a faucet, a microwave, and a mini fridge with a freezer. There is a control panel in the same unit to control the inverter, water pump, three lighting zones, and water fill level.
The second unit has spacious cabinets above and below the countertop, ample drawers for storage, and a dry flush toilet in a heavy-duty drawer at the bottom. Other noticeable details are white oak ceiling slots, a fan, and some strip LED for a homely touch.
The open-floor bedroom has been created at the rear of the van with a lift bed feature. To make things as convenient as possible, a happy jack electric bed lift makes the bed go up with just the touch of a button. This mechanism adjusts the height of the bed as per requirements.

The bedroom also has two dimmable reading lights with USB plugs, two outlets, and a ceiling AC. The garage area below the bed sleeps the dogs. It has two wall-mounted fans to keep the dogs cool. The floor is covered in durable coin mat flooring.
Moreover, there are four accessible compartments accessible by lifting some panels. These compartments house plumbing and electrical.
