At 3daysofdesign 2025, Muuto showcased new furniture pieces that highlight its fresh take on Scandinavian design. One highlight is the Dream View Bench by Lise Vester, featured in the “Grounded in Nature” installation created with Kinda Studios. This peaceful space invites visitors to escape city life and connect with nature. The bench has smooth, wavy curves that support the body comfortably and coax users to lean back.

The Dream View Bench invites you to pause and daydream by encouraging you to look up at the sky in a relaxed position. Its curvature follows the body’s natural form to provide gentle support that makes reclining comfortable. Crafted from reflective stainless steel, it mirrors the changing colors of the sky and other things in the surroundings.

The Dream View bench turns the simple act of sitting into a calming, meditative experience. It creates a restful, reclining state for body that helps you relax, derive new ideas, and imagine possibilities for the future.

The bench is available in two sizes: a 100 cm wide bench designed for sharing moments with others, and a 60 cm wide chair ideal for quiet self-reflection. Both offer a unique way to connect with nature, whether you like to watch clouds drift by or stars twinkle at the night.

The bench is part of a new design trend that focuses on how things feel, not just how they look. This kind of design uses shapes, textures, and materials to create a sensory experience.

Sabine Marcelis has also designed the Lisse Sofa with a seamless and soft look that invites users to sit. Vincent Van Duysen’s 2025 Zara Home collection also designed to engage both the hand and the eye.
