Canadian brand Napoleon is releasing a new Prestige Pro range of gas grills with integrated smart technology and guided cooking for 2026. These new BBQ grills are outfitted with a digital LCD screen that lets you monitor and control everything easily, while a mobile app can also be used for the same. The earlier versions of the Prestige lineup also feature an on-board display for temperature reading, but it doesn’t allow you to control the grill settings, which has been addressed in the new models.
The new Prestige Pro grill features a large touchscreen on one side, adding to its modern look. It works like a digital controller that not only allows you to set the temperature but also allows for gas automation. You can also use the companion mobile app to set cooking temperature, monitor your food with wireless or wired probes, and get alerts.
There are multiple burner knobs on the main control panel that automatically flash white so that you know easily which one to turn on. Another cool feature is that the knob’s orange light intensifies as you increase the heat, while a softer orange hue means lower settings. The grill is even able to adjust heat on its own when you open the lid, meaning no need for manual heat adjustments.
The grill comes with 9.5 mm-thick stainless steel grids to evenly retain heat. There is an infrared sizzle zone that heats up to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit in less than 30 seconds for steakhouse-quality sears and fast meals. It even includes a warming rack that can be stowed away behind the infrared burner when not in use.

Each grill also includes a built-in electric smoker box that lets you add pellets, wood chips, or chunks for a smoked touch to your food without opening the grill. The company says it provides up to 30 minutes of burn time with wood chips and 45 minutes with chunks. Other highlighting features include Jetfire 2.0 Ignition, auto shut-off, and a rotisserie kit with heavy-duty motorized spit rod and adjustable forks.
The pricing for 2026 Prestige Pro gas grills has not been announced yet, but it is slated to be available in February 2026. Smart technology and guided cooking are two main highlights that make it possible for you to have a next-gen grilling experience at home.
