Narwal Flow robovac, with its antics, was a CES heartthrob last year. Narwal doesn’t want to rest on the laurels of the past. At this year’s CES, the revolutionary home cleaning company is presenting the Flow 2: an upgraded version with a set of RGB cameras onboard, touting 1080p resolution and AI vision to detect jewelry and even find your pet hiding, while still maintaining its ability to self-clean in real time.
The just-announced Flow 2 robovac and mop, Narwal claims, is the “most advanced robotic mop ever.” Narwal Freo Z10 Ultra, for me, was a full-blown autonomous cleaner already that did most things right, but that’s not how Narwal wants to see it. Case in point, it has unveiled the Flow 2, built with one of the most advanced AI systems for object recognition.
Using the HD RGB cameras to capture up to a 136-degree field of view, it can detect a precious item (jewelry, wallet, phone, or even keys) you’ve dropped or lost under the couch. When it does, the Flow 2, The Verge notes, stops at about 5cm distance from it (to avoid accidentally vacuuming it) and then sends a push notification to the Narwal app on your phone with the photo of the detected item and its location on your home map.
Equally impressive is the robovac’s refreshed design that comes with two dedicated cleaning modes focused on children and pets. Vowing to be the best vacuum cleaner for homes with babies, the new Narwal Flow 2 is prepped with a Baby Care Mode that automatically reduces the vacuum cleaner’s noise as it approaches your baby’s crib. It can also send out a reminder when it detects misplaced toys.

The Pet Care Mode can help locate your furry friend when you’re away or allow you to focus on deep cleaning the defined zones that your pet happens to visit the most. Besides these new features, the upgraded Narwal Flow 2 comes with 30,000 Pa suction and 158°F hot-water mopping. It features two different docking stations: one with a water tank and the other with automatic refilling and draining functions, and also comes with a washable debris filter and a new reusable dust bag.
There is no word on the pricing of the Narwal Flow 2 at this point, but we’ve learned that it will launch in April 2026. Considering the Narwal Flow retails for around $2,000, we can expect a significant bump in the price of the new upgraded model.
At CES 2026, Narwal is also showcasing a new ultra-slim cordless vacuum and the specialized U50 Series mattress vacuum cleaner as part of the company’s new collective, positioned at unified cleaning for floors and fabrics.
