Tiny house industry might still be in the infant stage in some parts of the world but the craze for mobile homes has hit its pinnacle. More and more people want to shift to the tiny house lifestyle, which gives an ante to micro-dwelling manufacturers around the globe to try their luck and be the next big thing in the tiny house industry. Artisan Tiny Homes is one such maker that wants to make the most of the moment and has been successful is building over a dozen tiny homes. Known for its meticulous design and creative spatial planning, the Tasmania-based company has recently completed Outlander tiny house on wheels.

Crafted with a client’s vision of spaciousness and an industrial barn aesthetic in mind, this 29.5 feet long abode combines functionality with striking design elements. The exterior of the Outlander is clad entirely in black, allowing it to blend harmoniously with its surroundings. It has multiple Etech glass windows, which allow the light to pass inside. Other notable features include an electric hot water system and provisions for both water and power connections ensuring comfort and convenience without sacrificing environmental responsibility.

Inside, the Outlander tiny house exudes a sense of openness despite its compact size.
The interior has a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a loft bedroom. The living space is anchored by a large L-shaped lounge, which not only provides a cozy spot for relaxation but also incorporates hidden storage compartments underneath for stowing away everyday essentials.

Nearby is the kitchen of the tiny home. Boasting extensive under-counter storage, a breakfast bar for casual dining, and modern amenities such as an electric cooktop and ample countertop space, the kitchen is functional and equally aesthetic. The kitchen’s countertop faces a set of open stairs that lead to the loft area.

The cleverly designed loft not only accommodates a king-sized bed but also features ample storage solutions. We can also spot a dedicated space for a mounted TV, so one need not be bored.

Downstairs is the bathroom, where a large corrugated iron shower with black fixtures becomes a focal point. Another notable feature includes a unique ice tub repurposed as a bathtub that adds a touch of rustic luxury to the home.

The bathtub is complemented by a custom-made keg basin sink and bespoke shelving inserts. Not to mention a composting toilet and LED downlights. These lights, along with other thoughtful touches like VJ lining boards for internal wall cladding and a carefully selected paint color palette, contribute to a cohesive design language that is both inviting and distinctive.
