Foosball tables were invented to bring the charm of soccer indoors and since inception they have found their way into our homes. These tables add fun and playfulness to the living space, equally enjoyed by people of all ages. The thrill of scoring goals and the unpredictable nature of the game add to its excitement, making every match unique and entertaining.

There are several popular designs of foosball tables and they are often made using a variety of materials. Palco foosball table by Edson Martone Henrique Vieira presents a new concept to the indoor game. It blends aspects of Greek architecture and modern sports arenas, especially in the base, which is oval and formed using slatted wood.

The top of the Palco foosball table is painted in black giving a nice contrast to the base that has a natural wood look. The edges are curved, unlike most foosball tables you come across. The playing rods are also black but the playing figures have been created using natural wood. Apart from serving its primary function, it is bound to add beauty to the space where it is installed.

One of the main considerations in designing the Palco foosball table has been its aim to favor a sustainable construction process. It encourages the use of reforested wood in building gaming furniture that can provide users with aesthetic appeal and durability.

Dimensions of the foosball table have not been disclosed by the designer. but it looks compact enough to be used at home, in the office, or even in clubs. No wonder, the Palco foosball table has received the prestigious Silver A’ Design Award in the toys, games, and hobby products category.

It has been designed for Brazil-based Raposo Sports, which specializes in providing premium gaming furniture to customers. Edson has a few other sustainable designs of indoor games to his credit, which look as fascinating as his foosball table.
