Canada-based interior designer Paolo Ferrari’s Tibur furniture collection tells a lot about his passion for luxurious materials. The collection brings technology and craft together in sophisticated forms made of stone. It comprises three furniture pieces that embrace quietly monumental and sculptural design along with a natural color palette.

The name of the collection comes from the Latin word for modern-day Tivoli, known for its Italian Travertine. Carved from Italian Travertine marble blocks, each piece in the line honors the region’s rich tradition and craftsmanship in stone carving. Ferrari describes the collection as an expression of the lasting durability of architecture that will live through generations.

The versatility of the material is what makes this collection unique. You can put the furniture pieces both indoors and outdoors. The entire collection wears a smooth, tactile form that shows simplicity, durability, and lasting appeal, while also blending timelessness, innovation, and craft.

The Tibur chair features a cool design with rounded armrests and a little bent backrest. The circular-style sofa comes with a tapered base and comprises three modules that can be placed independently on a two-seat sofa. As for the Tibur dining table, it is softly sculpted, evoking a dramatic play of light and shadow.

Ferrari has created marble furniture pieces that emanate durability and sturdiness while displaying the inherent beauty of this classic material. They combine the monumentality of ancient Roman architecture with a forward-looking design approach.

The Tibur furniture collection is available in four different types of travertine: Rosso, Titanium, Bianco, and Classico. You can learn more about the pricing and availability through Paolo Ferrari’s official website.
