The feeder uses an integrated AI Camera to accurately identify each cat and track their individual eating habits and gain precise health insights. It dispenses meals automatically according to a set timetable and even opens the wet food packets. The feeder uses NFC freshness tracking and UVC sanitization during each serving cycle to ensure freshness, while AI-based leftover detection prevents spoilage. Each serving is dispensed and kept fresh until your pet eats it.
You can set exact amounts for each serving, so that your pet doesn’t overeat. It can even dispense precise, clinically appropriate meals to cats with urinary or renal needs. The system can provide up to seven days of fully automated wet meals. Interestingly, the feeder keeps a check on how much and when your pet eats, which will be turned into useful data over time.

As per Petkit, this robotic pet feeder is part of an integrated ecosystem of devices that also includes an automatic water fountain and an open-top automatic cat litter box – both featuring AI-enabled cameras. All these AI-powered devices work together as a single ecosystem in the home for your daily convenience while also collecting long-term data on each pet’s hydration, nutrition, and litter behavior.
The pet owner can use the companion mobile app to access information about eating, drinking, and litter box activity through a single health card for each cat. This can help track changes in the cat’s usual patterns related to its health. They help you get earlier insights into health changes and provide reliable daily monitoring in multi-cat environments.
