Pro-Ject Audio Systems has garnered a fan base worldwide courtesy of its high-quality turntables and audiophile equipment. At High-End Munich 2025, the Austrian hi-fi brand showcased its artist collection featuring Peanuts, Elvis, and AC/DC turntables. However, another item exhibited at the show yet kept under the wraps (not literally) was the Pro-Ject’s Travel Set.
This all-in-one audio package is compact, portable, and delivers crisp, clear, and powerful sound you’d expect from a premium system, all without weighing you down. The setup comprises high-quality speakers (Speaker Box 3 E Carbon), a sleek amplifier (Stereo Box S3 BT), all necessary cables, and an aluminium suitcase to carry it all.
Starting with the speakers, small yet powerful, these ‘boomboxes’ deliver rich, detailed sound that feels much bigger than their size suggests. Available in three stunning color finishes, white, black, or walnut, the speakers fit seamlessly into almost any space. The amplifier is equally impressive, offering robust power in a slim, travel-friendly form. Not to mention, high-quality copper cables that connect the amplifier to the speaker. All this hi-fi gear comes packed inside an aluminium suitcase that features a soft inlay to protect all components during transport, ensuring your gear arrives safely wherever you go.
“I am crazy about music, so I have always wanted to be able to listen to true hi-fi stereo everywhere life takes me,” Heinz Lichtenegger, CEO of Pro-Ject Audio System, shared with Homecrux. Lichtenegger relies on the Travel Set during business trips, noting, “It’s perfect for any hotel room, easy and quick to set up.” What Lichtenegger points out is evident in the Travel Set’s compact design, which packs the essentials of a high-end audio system into a portable package without cutting corners in performance.
“The whole setup is priced at €699 ($790),” Jakob Dirnberger, Art Director, Pro-Ject Audio System, tells us. Dirnberger has also confirmed to Homecrux that the high-fidelity portable audio system won’t be a limited edition, ensuring music lovers everywhere can get their hands on it.

Pro-Ject Audio Systems is making waves beyond the Travel Set. Dirnberger tells us, “We have recently showcased a slew of upcoming products at High End in Munich, including new artist-themed turntables we are super proud of. The AC/DC turntable has just been officially released, with Peanuts (Snoopy) slated to release in the coming months.”
Jakob further reveals that the company is apparently working on an Elvis turntable that’s set to follow by year’s end. “To connect with the new generation of vinyl listeners, Pro-Ject is active on social media platforms like Instagram, creating fresh content tailored to today’s music enthusiasts,” he states. While the company has still remained silent on the release date of the Travel Set, we estimate it to go live in the coming months.
