If chunky furniture is your style, you will want to have this colorful shelf for yourself. The 31-year-old Swedish designer, Gustaf Westman, has come up with chunky puzzle pieces as a shelf that is not only functional but adds a touch of whimsy to your interiors. designed to connect in various configurations, the shelving system is modular and playful.

The stackable shelves are glossy and leave ample space between layers to place your accessories. The designer took to his Instagram to announce about his new creation through a collaborative reel with Apple. The ones familiar with his work already might be aware of him seeking inspiration from the most random and everyday objects. The designer shared on Instagram that this idea was derived from the childhood toy, puzzles.

The puzzle shaped blocks lock into each other to look like a big jigsaw. The interesting puzzle shelf can also serve as a side table, a bookshelf, a bar, and what not. You can either use it as a singular block or stack them together to form a tall shelf.

Westman envisioned the project on a 3D model and then gave the shelves his signature candy hues. Available in glossy pinks, icy-blues, cherry reds, and greens, all the pieces look like avant-garde art pieces. The pieces can be configured in various ways to create functional yet eye-catchy furniture.

The storage blocks are flexible and come in small as well as large sizes to fit into your living space. The glossy and chunky puzzle pieces can be mixed and matched, and played with to give your home a color pop. These puzzle shelves are now available and are made-to-order.
