In a lush green forest stands a shimmering glass structure listening to the murmurs of nature. Called Reflections Holiday Home – built by Okno Modhomes based in Karnataka, India – the serene structure lets you drift into the natural world of wonders and sleep under the open sky. Designed by the renowned Indian designer duo, Harshit Puram & Parikshit Linga, Reflections is elevated from the ground and boasts 300 square feet of living space where visitors can enter through the discreet entrance.

It is a heaven for people who want to have an intimate connection with nature, where they can find their safe space and wake up to the natural world reflecting back through the glazed mirrors. There is an immersive deck accommodating a lounger, luxurious hot tub, and beautiful surroundings. Meanwhile, the exquisite mirrored façade reflects the calmness of nature and blends seamlessly with the expansive landscape.

Inside, an entirely different world clad in earthy-toned natural wood, metal, and soft textiles creates a warm sanctuary to make the guests feel at home. In order to let the visitors experience the joy of being in nature, the open layout makes the space feel bigger and livelier.

Adding to the joy are floor-to-ceiling windows that blur the boundaries between outdoor and indoor further. One of the coolest features is the motorized king-size bed that effortlessly slides out onto the deck for sleeping under the stars.

The kitchen is just a step away with a black painted countertop, a sink, ample cabinets, drawers, and some shelves to keep the kitchen items stacked in and space clean and tidy. For dining, there is an intimate set up of two chair and a table. The bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen. It is enclosed by a black door and features a shower, a sink, and a toilet.

“The Reflections Holiday Home embodies Okno Modhomes’ vision of combining innovative modular construction with elegant, nature-inspired design. This project highlights our commitment to sustainability through the use of eco-friendly materials and efficient building methods, aimed at minimizing environmental impact,” a representative from Okno Modhomes told Homecrux.

“Each stage, from concept to completion, was carefully orchestrated to ensure the highest quality and harmony with its natural surroundings. A standout feature is the motorized bed, which seamlessly slides out to offer an unparalleled connection with the outdoor environment, enhancing the living experience. The result is a modern, serene retreat that aligns with contemporary eco-conscious living.”

Reflections Holiday Home is a paradigm of innovative and eco-conscious architecture. Embodying the modern essence of luxury in an environmentally-friendly structure, it aims to be as gentle as possible with nature.
