If you thought Samsung The Frame TVs were the epitome of art and entertainment, think again! This past weekend, at IFA in Berlin, Samsung and Canvas HiFi showcased a beautifully crafted multimedia entertainment enclosure, The HiFi Frame. Designed in collaboration, it seamlessly integrates high-fidelity audio with Samsung televisions, transforming them into a functional piece of art that can be mounted on the wall or placed on the floor.
Canvas thrilled the world with its artistic solution of hiding a powerful sound system behind an impressive artwork, seamlessly combining it with the TV at CES 2025 in January. Now, the Danish brand is bringing that geometric enclosure, which entails a powerful audio system, to a range of Samsung TVs, allowing consumers to enjoy true Hi-Fi from a TV sound system.

A TV is a primary source of multimedia entertainment in almost every household. Still, true audio enthusiasts have to pair their sets with soundbars or home theater systems to enhance sound to their audio requirements. This is where Canvas steps in to change the consumption model. It effectively transforms the entire TV setup into one cohesive piece of functional art. Now presenting a Samsung TV and its audio system as the centerpiece of your living room.
The HiFi Frame thus comprises speakers and an amplifier housed inside an artistic frame that makes them one with the mounted TV. While it’s fancy and interesting, it sure is not a casual purchase; it will start at €5,000 (approx. $5,800 for the smallest model). Samsung understands that people want statement pieces to stand out in their aesthetically nurtured homes, and are willing to spend on them. And this is the HNI market Samsung and Canvas intend to tap into with The HiFi Frame.
According to the available information, the artistic façade that hides the amps and speakers behind itself is finished in a choice of Kvadart fabric or responsibly sourced oak, walnut, or mahogany wood. Canvas has partnered with Danish artist Carsten Beck to feature his geometric and tactile works on the HiFi front cover and digitally mirror it on Samsung Frame TVs in Art Mode. This allows The HiFi Frame to display the artwork on its screen when it’s switched off.

The HiFi Frame is compatible with Samsung’s premium TVs from 55 to 85 inches. The TVs can be mounted on the detachable HiFi Frame, which connects them to the speakers (concealed behind) to give you one integrated system that has the finest image and sound quality, while appearing its artistic best in your room.
