Samsung introduces smartphone controlled Wi-Fi Air Conditioners

The worst feeling of walking into the house on a hot summer day is that in spite of the air conditioner at home you have to walk into a hot oven. Yes, the air conditioners have timers, which you can set to the time and temperature you want, but how many of us use them given the pace in our lives. Samsung has now stepped into to facilitate us with the introduction of Wi-Fi range of air conditioners a user can control from the palm of their hands. Samsung’s Wi-Fi ACs are internet savvy, using Samsung’s Smart Air Conditioner app (available for Android and iOS), customers can control their ACs to switch on and off, select mode and set temperature from anywhere with their smartphones alone.

Samsung has introduced five models of the Wi-Fi air conditioners listed in the image below. The models start from $899 and with the high-end model priced at $2,199. Besides the unique Wi-Fi feature and smartphone controls, the air conditioners also include D’Light Cool Mode (to access the room temperature and humidity) and Good Sleep Mode II (to gradually lower the temperature as you sleep and increase it when you wake up).
