Australian custom builder, Tiny House by Hangan, is simplifying life with gorgeous downsized dwellings that allow both freedom and luxuries of traditional houses. The Sunset tiny house by the manufacturer is a stunning mobile dwelling, perfect for a travel-loving couple. It is a testament to the Australian craftsmanship, which we have time and again witnessed through tiny houses emerging from the land Down Under.

The solar-ready compact abode measures 19.6-foot-long, 11.8-foot-high, and 8-foot-wide. Embracing an open-floor layout, the house is dotted with big windows that bring the vast outdoors in and make it feel more spacious.

The Sunset tiny house has a total floor space of 150 square feet, which isn’t that much but the manufacturer managed to pack all the necessities in the tiny package without breaking the design flow. The micro-dwelling has a single-floor design that features a kitchenette, a bedroom, a work/breakfast bar, and a compact bathroom. Since the bedroom is right there on the open floor, there is no sense in having a separate living room to sit and relax.

The kitchenette, although tiny, has modern appliances to make life on the road easier. It has full-height windows, keeping it bright and breezy. The builder outfitted the kitchen with an electric cooktop, wooden countertops, a stainless steel sink, and a bar fridge. It also has plenty of under-counter cabinets to keep things out of the way and well-organized.

Opposite the cooking station, a breakfast bar made of Tasmanian oak is mounted on the wall. It seats two people and can double as a workspace. On one end of the house, a compact bathroom is designed. The bathroom has a tiled shower stall, a large sink, and a toilet.

On the other side, the bedroom is flanked by huge windows. The bed is equipped with built-in compartments for easy storage. The queen-size bed can sleep two people at night and can function as a cozy lounge during the day.

Priced at AUD 90,000 (roughly $60,000), the Sunset tiny house is fully insulated and solar-ready. It also has waterproof hybrid floors, an electric hot water system, and a split air conditioner to keep the dwelling at optimal temperature.
