A new lightweight truck camper featuring a carbon fiber reinforced shell, the Supertramp Flagship HT, can lead you deep into the backcountry where a standard camper trailer can not. Much like an expedition machine, it is rugged enough to go anywhere but is packed with all the amenities you would need during your adventure trip. What’s more is the cabin has 360-degree wrap-around windows to maximize outdoor views from the inside.
Supertramp’s first hard-shell camper, the Flagship HT slide-in camper, fits in most full-size trucks with a 6.5-foot or 8-foot bed. The entire shell is insulated with 1.5-inch foam using a vacuum infusion process that makes it suitable for a winter trip. There is also an option to include a Truma furnace and water heater combo, as well as a Dometic RTX 2000 for air conditioning to maintain the interior temperature for all seasons.
The Flagship HT has an L-shaped couch that can be used for dining, working, or just having some moments of relaxation. The kitchen faces the couch and has a stainless steel sink, cooktop, and a 65-liter fridge. The interior space looks quite spacious with a number of windows that can also be opened up to let in fresh air.
The couch also has storage underneath, and one of the seating units houses the toilet and shower that can be covered with curtains for privacy. At the end of the camper is the bedroom with a fan overhead and windows on three sides.
The camper base measures 82 inches long, the interior height is 6 foot 6 inches, and the width is 81.25 inches. Meanwhile, the dry weight ranges between 1399-1800 lbs. depending on the features you have integrated into the camper. The camper has 38 cubic feet of storage, including two gear lockers, under-bed storage, Molle panels, and streamlined aluminum upper cabinets.
For off-grid living, the camper comes with 24 gallons of fresh water, 10 gallons of grey water, 22 lbs. of propane, 200 Ah (upgradable to 800 Ah) of battery power, and 330W of solar capacity. There are USB A and USB C ports, along with a 5A dash socket, to meet the needs of the inhabitants.

According to GearJunkie, the Supertramp Flagship HT features a high-gloss white automotive paint finish for a clean, modern look on the outside. There are three other options to choose from, including Battleship Grey, Forest Green, and Desert Tan, or you can customize the exterior paint color to match your pickup truck. For the interior, you can choose from the Glacial Valley package with cool blue tones or the Desert Mesa package boasting earthy oranges and browns.
The pricing for the Supertramp Flagship HT starts at $65,900, which is a bit pricey, but it comes fully equipped, which means you can take it on a camping trip without additional work required.
