Double duty or multifunctional furniture has always been a hit amongst people living in  small apartments. But, designers today have added an excellent charm to such furniture units so that these become more advantageous and also loved and bought even by those who do not have any kind of space issues. The elegant Table for Two is an excellent example of a kitchen table that doubles as a workstation for two people and offers a dining space for six.

Accommodating two practical purposes, Table for Two is designed by Daniel Liss, a designer based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. As we know that a kitchen table has been used for dining with family and for working as well since long. This concept has been cleverly utilized by Liss in designing this flexible kitchen table. By including some movable parts in the table, he has made the transition more quick and easy. Just fold the lids (in the middle of the wooden table) down to get a flat surface that serves as a dining table for six individuals. And when you need to use the table as a work space, flip up the lids to divide the table into two halves. A private working space for two is ready.

A space to store a power source is also included, which can be hidden when not used. For keeping your work essentials like pen, paper, or laptop etc. a storage drawer is also provided. Check out the video below for more of this ingenious design.
